Farmers Market

We have a booth set up on the second Friday of every month at the Avila Beach Farmers Market. We are promoting fishing for women and are having a fun time at the market. Come see our booth stocked full of sweathirts, t=shirts, hats, visors and a monthly surprise item that is RAFFLED off. Congratualtions to G. Surf Fishing in Paradise, Avila

Because we live in paradise we are spoiled and are able to fish at a moment's notice. So if you are interested in learning more about surf fishing or just honing your skills we will be getting together at Avila Beach South East of the 1st pier from 5:00 p.m. on. So bring your gear and show up when you can for Monday nights in Paradise. Starting May 12, check the calendar for other days and locations.

This is the derby winner for the LHFC fishing trip last weekend at Lopez Lake. The angler is Joan Ott a Lady Hooker, from Santa Maria. The trout was 20-3/8 inches and weight in at 5lbs. The fish was caught in about 25 ft of water using night crawler and a sliding bobber off of cottonwood cove. Congratulation Joan winner of the derby.
