Welcome to the
Lady Hookers Fishing Club

Our group is for women who enjoy fishing.....

We fish anywhere and everywhere.

The Lady Hookers Fishing Club's main goal is to enhance the fishing experience for women through education, camaraderie, sharing of information and experiences. Regardless of your fishing expertise or how much expertise or how much time you've spent fishing, everyone will be able to learn something through this organization and have fun doing it.

There are numerous fishing trips throughout the year targeting different species of fish from rock fish, albacore, halibut, sea bass and Pismo clams to fresh water trout and bass. We also will offer seminars on species identification, technique and equipment.

We emphasize the proper care of our fisheries and support the right to fish responsibly in California waters.

The 2nd Annual Lady Hookers Fishing Club general meeting and dinner is scheduled for November 22nd 2008. It will be held at the San Luis Yacht Club in Avila Beach. Social hour from 5:30-6:00, Dinner at 6:00pm with a raffle, 50/50 drawing and update on the club for the 2009 fishing season. Cost is $15.00 for members and $20.00 for guests. Space is limited so get your reservations in today by emailing fish@ladyhookers.com.

The San Luis Yacht Club is located next to the first pier in Avila Beach at 443 Front Street.

We are planing a trip on the Rita G out of Central Coast Sportfishing Morro Bay* on Wednesday November 19th, 2008 from 7:00am-3:00pm, be there by 6:30. This is "club day" price per person is 1/2 price ($33.00 vs. $66.00) with your Lady Hooker Fishing Club membership card. Lost your card or didn't get a paid membership this year? Its not too late, any memberships purchased after November 1st 2008 will be good from the date of purchase through the end of 2009. Memberships are 20.00 annually and get you in on other discounts from area businesses and LHFC items and events. Get your card today it pays to be a memeber.
